Our Mission

WellMama is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum support for new, expectant and grieving parents.

At WellMama, our mission is to provide resources, peer support, and wellness services to people affected by or at risk for mental health conditions related to parenthood. We educate parents and the professionals who serve them on prevention, identification and treatment. WellMama raises community awareness of perinatal mental health and promoted supportive policies and accessible treatment.

Women's Care

One of the most exciting developments this year has been our growing partnership with Women’s Care OB/GYN clinics. Through this collaboration, medical providers can directly connect patients experiencing emotional distress, recovery challenges, or social isolation with WellMama’s trained peer specialists, immediately on-site at the clinic.

Since launching this integration, referrals have steadily increased as providers see the value of pairing medical care with peer-based support. Patients who may otherwise fall through the cracks are now receiving immediate follow-up from our Peer Support Specialist who connects them with our team at the WellMama Support Center, where they can access ongoing peer support groups, individual sessions, and navigation to community resources.
