Miriam is a WellMama board member. She has a degree in psychology and anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and a J.D. from Emory University Law School. Miriam is a manager in the quality department of a local health plan working on behalf of members and providers. She originally came to WellMama because of her interest in making sure that all new moms and families get the support they need to more fully embrace the joys and challenges of parenthood. Serving on the board has been an overwhelmingly positive experience for her, and she’s been so impressed with the impact of this small organization in our community- through support groups, educational activities, and events. She has a preschooler and a toddler that keep her laughing and living in the moment.
